Easy-to-grow, tall, aromatic ornamental. Fern-like, silvery, sweet-smelling foliage. Use in floral arrangements, wreaths, pressed flowers. Attracts bees, butterflies, birds to your garden. Grown mostly for its sweetly scented foliage, its ornamental value, its use in wreath-making, and for use in pressed leaf and flower arrangements. Suitable for container growing.
Sweet Annie plants are a fast-growing, tall annual herb variety that can reach up to 6 feet in height. Also referred to as sweet wormwood, these plants are known for their sweet-smelling, silvery-green, lacy foliage. Though the flowers of this plant aren't showy or extravagant, the sweet aroma makes up for any lack of bright color.
Traditional usage (WHO): Antimalarial, cancer therapy, widely used to keep virus from replicating. Source of artemisinin. Light dependent germinator.
