75 days. Capsicum annuum

This is a very early maturing pepper variety with peppers that are ready to pick in 65 days after transplanting into the garden. The glossy red 6” peppers grow on sturdy 4’ plants.

The name “Hot Portugal” comes from its variable heat levels which can reach as high as 30,000 SHUs, or as hot as a Cayenne pepper!

An excellent chili for cool climates, it is early and productive.

Contains 15 heirloom seeds

Planting Instructions: Seeds should be sown in warm conditions, covered very lightly (depth of ¼ inch) and kept reasonably moist until seedlings emerge. 

Grow in full sun. Great for containers.
