Also called chickpeas, the garbanzo bean is a tender annual legume that produces 1" pods that contains one to two seeds each. When cooked, the beans have a wonderful nutty flavor and are good in salads or for making hummus.
Garbanzo beans are a bush crop that reach 18-24 inches in height.
The beans are also great for sprouts, soups, stews, and pasta salads.
