50 days. A wonderful Heirloom from Denmark, this one is famous for slicing with its long, cylindrical roots. Produces much more uniform slices than round beets. This tender and sweet variety is also known as "Butter Slicer" because of its wonderful texture.

Plastic Whiskey Barrell Aproved

I planted seeds in half of a plastic whiskey barrel four years ago. Now, it comes up by itself every year from a tomato falled on dirt. Decembet 22, 2024 and it's still producing sweet tomatoes. Thrives in Texas heat.

Hope I can start these in the house early next spring.
