During late spring or mid-fall, Organic Slow Bolt Cilantro will give off a mild spice and will provide the best flavor as fresh leaves. The younger cilantro leaves will continue to grow as the lower leaves are harvested. Once the warm temperatures rise, Organic cilantro coriander seeds will develop, as your herb finally bolts and produces small clusters of white flowers.
Tip: Cilantro growing in soil that reaches 75F will bolt and go to seed. This means that the ideal cilantro growing conditions are cool but sunny.
