NEW ARRIVAL FOR 2025
95 days. Capsicum baccatum
A pretty type of Aji, named as such for its appearance and flavor which show resemblance to the famous Habanero peppers.
Unlike the Habanero, the Aji Habanero is quite mild, with minimal heat. The flavor has the delicious smoky spiciness that Habanero's are famous for. The bright peppers ripen to an orange-yellow with slight wrinkles.
The 2½”-long and ¾”-wide Chiles mature from green to pale yellow to pale orange on 2'- to 3'-tall plants.
SHU: 5,000 to 10,000
Contains 10 heirloom seeds
Planting Instructions: Seeds should be sown in warm conditions, covered very lightly (depth of ¼ inch) and kept reasonably moist until seedlings emerge.
Grow in full sun. Great for containers.
