I have planted tons of wildflowers and perennials on the slopes of the storm run off in our back yard. bees, butterflies, bunnies and birds love it
We had a huge basil crop one year and left it going even after it flowered because the bees were so happy! And then when it seeded the birds came in. We were down a whole planter box that year but it was worth it for the entertainment!
my least favorite bee friendly plant is lantana. oh that I could push a button and clear my land of it.
