Kyoto Red carrot is a Japanese traditional heirloom vegetable, dento yasai, grown in the Kyoto area. This heirloom carrot variety is sweet tasting and deep scarlet.
Deep red color develops when about 3” long. Its glossy, deep scarlet roots grow beautifully tapered carrots 10-12” long that are notably tender and sweet.
