This heirloom variety is said to have been brought over on the Mayflower in 1620. It has a long history of being circulated in the Carolinas.
Small square seeds are bi-colored white with rose speckles. Loved for their amazing flavor, despite having stringy pods. An excellent dry bean perfect for baking or canning. Pole bean variety.
