Waltham 29 broccoli is an heirloom, compact plant that grows blue-green main heads that are 4–9″ across as well as numerous side shoots for an extended harvest season and high yields. The tall plants grow long stalks and have good cold resistance, making them a perfect choice for late summer or fall plantings.
Excellent for cooler climates. Grows thru winter in warmer climates.

Seeds can be sown in cool conditions, covered very lightly (depth of ¼ inch) and kept reasonably moist until seedlings emerge. Transplant or thin seedlings 6-12 inches apart.
