I love Salvia
Lavender is my favorite bee-friendly plant.
Marigolds!
Love veggie plants like tomatoes and cukes, but marigolds and mums are nice!
I’ve planted a large assortment of flowers to attract bees, but I think they like basil the most.
The Bee’s love the milkweed in my butterfly garden they love to be on it all day long.
Our bees love our clover, mint, and squash blossoms, and I’m hoping to give them some artichoke blooms next year!
I love anything with pretty colors, but my favorite to attract bees is purple coneflower.
It’s really hard to choose my favorite bee friendly plant since I love many plants. I guess I would have to go with lavender if I really have to choose only one.
My favorite bee “plant” is the Japanese plum tree. They have sooooo many sweet smelling flowers and the bees are always in there….it is sad that I don’t have one right now. As a kid we had two of them and I used to love to stand by the tree for a snack!
Our bees love marigolds!
My favorite bee friendly plant the Wisteria.
i find that basil attracts more bees than anything else in my garden
i have a ton of marigold all around for pest control, along with a variety of herbs, but once the basil starts to flower and go to seed, which is often as many of you know, there are so many bees on some days I can hear them buzzing.
Mary you Rock….and favorite pollinator …BORAGE!!
Our favorite plants to grow for the bees are bee balm, zinnias, basil (letting it flower) and goldenrod for late summer
Sunflowers!
