We do a garden for the bees sunflowers and assorted flowers

Beth Smith,

Fav bee.friendly plants are wildflowers

Dawne,

Bee balm seems to be a popular plant – and I’m going to have to follow the crowd here and agree that it’s a good one! Not only does it attract pollinators, but I like to make tea out of it.

Serena,

I would say bee balm!

Rebecca T Webb,

I love the bee balm, especially Burgamot! All the bees and hummingbird moths that feed on them are wonderful to watch.

Alysha,

Love sunflowers and honeysuckle

Sonya Allstun,

I have cat mint outside my bedroom window. I love hearing the buzzing of bumbles and carpenters and the occasional honey bee flitting from blossom to blossom. It has a long blooming season especially if I selectively prune it over the summer.

Amy S,

Borage and bee balm. But I plant all kinds of bee friendly plants. But I love Borage.

Karen,

Favorite…all of them! If I had to pick just one….um, bee balm

Ruth Ann Beckelhimer,

Not only did my seeds arrive in a timely manner, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find a few extras in my order! I am very excited to see how well they grow for our family. Thank you!

Jessie A,

We have a couple of areas we mow around and leave the milkweed to grow for the bees and butterflies. I also always plant zinnias for both.

Melissa Storms,

I’m overrun with bidens. Might as well call it my favorite, because it’s everywhere. I’d really rather be overrun with tithonia.

Terri Pine,

I would have to say I really don’t have a bee friendly plant but if I had to choose one I would save clover.

Sandra McFadden,

I love sunflowers and cone flowers. I usually plant a prepacked box of seeds that are good for pollinators. This year I am also planting cotton.

Chasa,

My large oregano plant is a hardy grower even when other plants aren’t doing well and the flowers attract all sorts of pollinators! Bees, wasps, flies, and butterflies all visit the abundance of oregano flowers every year! =) It flowers at the perfect time to bridge if there’s a gap between spring and summer flowers. =)

Lana,

I like having clover around for the bees.
