I’m gorwing borage for my bees again. They loved it when I had it before.

Lavender. Love it as much as the bees!

Sandra,

My favorite plant to attract bees is elderflowers. Just beautiful right know

Sue,

The Dahlias are my favorite bee friendly flower.

Jo Ricker,

I love bee balm, batchelor buttons and mint for bees. They seem to really love them.

ANNETTE L HAZELL,

Sunflowers

Lucy,

Borage, sunflowers, Zinnia, Acacia trees for the bees.

Paul McCollum,

Lavender!

Jamie,

I love sunflowers and coneflowers!

Danielle Cloward,

Honestly, dandelions. First bee food in the spring, and they give greens all summer. I dry them and put them in my winter smoothies.

Hannah,

I love catmint for the bees. I have a stand of them outside my bedroom window which makes it easy for me to watch the variety of bees that enjoy it. On any given day there will be carpenter bees, bumble bees, honey bees, and various smaller bees. Catmint can be pruned to the base for a new flush of purple flowers later in the season. It’s no one-and-done plant, that’s for sure.

P.S. The hummingbirds like it too.
