What I love about Heirloom seeds is that it is the ultimate in sustainability and self sufficiency. I’m find myself in awe of the power of one single seed….It reminds me of the power of the Lord and how when he plants a seed how it multiplies.
I love following the homesteaders pages and channels to learn, and watch their learning processes. Life is a journey we all get to our destinations by different paths, experiencing others paths is fun! I love heirloom seeds because of their ‘savability’, I know it’s not a word but you know what I mean. If self sufficiency and homesteading go hand in hand, heirloom seeds need to be held in the mix by necessity. I still buy seeds, but it is nice to know I could continue growing food by saving my own seeds.
